Lord your Word says your people perish for lack of knowledge. And Lord I am praying right now that the words you gave me here will touch those who are listening. Lord if anyone is not sure how to vote. Please Lord lead them so they are voting in accordance with your word. Voting according to kingdom principals, voting in spirit and in truth. In Jesus Name . Amen and amen.

Is your vote in order with the Word of God?

Thinking, emotion, decision, actions, habits, character, destination

How do we start in one location and wind up at our destination? Your Thinking impacts your emotions which will cause you to make a decision which produces actions. repeatedly this develops into habits which develop your character leading to your destination The world has gotten more dangerous and confusing. I believe that people are more confused than ever right now in this day and time. Much more confused than ever before. Confused because they are unsettled. Are you unsettled If you feel unsettled I submit to you it is because you have some unfinished business. I would say it is because you’re undecided. We are faced with some very interesting times, and we have to make some very poignant choices, choices by voting,. voting on issues like the marriage amendment and partial birth abortion for example. Choices should not be difficult for you if you believe in God. It is certainly not a political issue as some would like you to think. It is a moral and spiritual issue, and one that should be an easy choice if you are abiding in His word. No Godly person should ever vote for anyone who supports abortion or same sex partnerships, it just goes in direct diametric opposition to God's good Word. God is very clear toward lawlessness and the shedding of innocent blood. If you are a Follower of His Word, then you love Jesus or are perhaps a Torah Jew, and if you love God then you must submit to His leading and do what He commands, not what you think is best for your district, or your union or how you "feel" about something. Here is the deal, and this always applies to everyone. There are eight steps that will lead us as individuals, corporately or in our community and country. The destination we find ourselves in life individually or as a nation are a step by step process. If we are not starting with right thinking then our emotions will lead to ill decisions which cause us to take wrong actions that dictate what habits we will develop leading to what our character becomes and guiding us to our destination in life. Let’s take a look.

1. Word of God:
Start everything with the Word of God in your life and you will have your thinking aligned with Him and you will get wisdom in your thoughts.

Genesis 1:26
Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

2. Thinking:
Clearly based on the leading of the Holy Spirit will guide our emotions to be righteous and to have the mind of Christ .

2 Corinthians 3:5
Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God.

3. Emotion:
When our thinking is clearly lined up with Him we can take charge of our emotions and not let them take control of us, this will produce proper decisions.

2 Timothy 3:1-7
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without selfcontrol, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God– 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them. 6 They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over weak willed women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, 7 always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth.

4. Decisions :
that are aligned with God will be wise, and that wisdom will move us toward the correct and corresponding actions.

John 14:21
Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him

5. Actions:
that line up with the Word of God will cause increase to take place in our lives because our habits will change.

James 2:20
You foolish man, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless

6. Habits:
are now developed in a Godly way because we are taking actions in and for Gods word. He uses us as His hands and Voice. We must have character.

Romans 8:5
Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires

7. Character:
We can never go beyond the character that we have and that character should be deeply embedded in us. And that character should be imbued by God.

Matthew 5:20-22
Mat 5:20 For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven. 21 “You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘Do not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.’ 22 But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother[fn2]will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, ‘Raca,’ (An Aramaic term of contempt) is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell.

8. Destination:

Finally we arrive at our destination and this place that we come to will be based on each one of the steps we have taken here.

Is your faith in Christ growing daily? Are you staying in the Word by reading your bible daily and believing on God. This will make all the difference in you perceptions, actions and life. Look at this scripture from Proverbs 12:17A truthful witness gives honest testimony, but a false witness tells lies. Let's be really, really honest here, our votes do count, and if we are aligned with the Lord we really can never support candidates who opposes the Word of God. Look at what my amplified bible says in John 14:21 AMPThe person who has My commands and keeps them is the one who [really] loves Me; and whoever [really] loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I [too] will love him and will show (reveal, manifest) Myself to him. [I will let Myself be clearly seen by him and make Myself real to him.]

Sometimes we can’t feel God, we just cannot feel God's presence in our lives. And this is especially true if you don’t spend time with Him, he never forces himself on you. But He is with us, if we are with Him. Remember we cannot serve two masters. We cannot by proxy, (someone we vote into office) allow innocent blood to be shed (kill the innocent unborn). And considering all things sacred, like marriage which is and was and will be a sacred covenant, the first covenant for husband and wife allow this to be diluted or allow these bondage's with same sex marriages. Scripture is clear in this area too. Look at what Leviticus 18:22 says in the Good News translation No man is to have sexual relations with another man; God hates that. That's pretty clear huh? I know, I know some of you are saying well that is Old Testament stuff, and you're right, but you also know in your heart of hearts that the Messiah is coming back to Judge with a sword, and He is clear that fornicators will not have a place in heaven.

And even now our Holy Spirits and our personal relationships with the Lord can be put in jeopardy if we continue to defile His Word and His Ways as a nation. And the choices rest upon each one of us as individuals. Look at these words that in the book of Corinthians "Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God." 1 Corinthians 6:9-1 Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God ? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders 10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God . 11 And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

The Lord says looking in lust is sin Matthew 5:28 But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart

and there are so many more. The bible is full of direction. For us and it is there for the reading, just open it and it will talk to you.

Let's be real and vote our heart and Spirit, not what we think is smart, or just to be a part of the peers we associate or work with. Let's stand in unity as Christian brothers and sisters and take back for Jesus what is His this year! Let's vote where God leads us.

In closing I want to give thanks to the Father God, Lord Jesus and The Holy Spirit for this word and leading me in it.
